# Target settings

Target settings in the Announcement Bar section are used to control the visibility of individual announcement blocks (Free shipping messages, Custom HTML, and Text ) based on:

* Specific page URLs
* Referrer paths
* Device types (mobile or desktop)

This allows for precise targeting of messages so they appear only where and when they’re most relevant.

## Tip

These targeting features give you dynamic control over which audience sees each announcement, letting you tailor messaging to:

* Where the user is (URL)
* Where they came from (Referrer)
* What they’re using (Device)

By combining these, you can create context-aware, conversion-focused announcement bars for better user engagement.
